Which other open source project would allow issues to be neglected for more
than 18 months?
Lots actually, In my experience most bugs I have raised against
opensource projects have never been fixed. The exception to this is
bugs I have raised against my own opensource projects. Opensource
developers tend to fix bugs which impact them and ignore bugs which
don't.
