[server-admins] Spam

So, seeing the sword-support emails crank up to ~50 a day again, I had a
look this weekend into why in the world Spamassassin lets so many
obvious spam emails through. I found one thing which seems to have
improved things. Apparently, the URIBL check fails if you attempt to
use any DNS server other than localhost. I guess they want to assure
that you are caching responses and not flooding someone elses DNS server
with spam checks.
I have setup bind on host.crosswire.org and now it seems our URIBL
checks from spamassassin are no longer blocked. I am surprised that
this one check makes such a difference. It seems like the only check
that matters for us.
But anyway, sword-support has been much quieter since this change.
Let's hope it holds up.
