Hi David,
I've finally got back to attempting to generate OSIS and Sword for some of
the scripture translations we need to handle, and have run into some
problems. It's difficult to say where they may arise, because there are so
many steps in the process - there's the way the translators have interpreted
USFM, the way I do so, the way I convert USFM to USX, the way I convert USX
to OSIS, the osis2mod.pl script, and Xiphos (which is the Sword reader I'm
using currently).
I was going to follow up your earlier suggestion and perhaps try some to
register to ask questions on some of the OSIS / Sword forums, but I'm having
trouble. At a guess, it looked to me as though
http://crosswire.org/forums/mvnforum/index might be a good starting point,
and I was trying to register for that one. However, when I do, I get a
message ...
The referer of request is not in trusted domains. Please configure
mvncore.xml.
There is a link which in theory lets you email the site administrator, which
I did a few days ago, but have not received any reply, so I'm wondering
whether emails may be vanishing into the void, or whether it's simply that
the administrator only looks at emails occasionally.
Don't know if you have any idea a) whether the forum I'm looking at would be
a good place to start; and b) if so, how I can get to register and
participate?
Thanks,
Jamie
