OK, good. The rsync is done (sometimes having decent bandwith is really
nice!). I'll test the temporary repository from installmgr in a moment,
it is at ftp://ftp.computeroptions.net/pub/sword/
Step 6: What other services are we going to try to run on a temporary
basis during the move?
6.1 Basic web site, I assume -- so can you get me access to the relevant
files on crosswire.org, including /home/crosswire and /home/pscozz,
please? If you can add my jmarsden user to a group and get me access
that way, fine, otherwise do whatever it takes -- change the root pw
temporarily and put a text file called "therootpw.txt" telling me what
it is in /home/jmarsden/ if you want :)
6.2 Email: I'm not sure we want to do this... could be significant
amount of setup work. How awful would it be to do without crosswire.org
email while the server is being moved? I may be able to more easily set
up a secondary MX so we just "hold" incoming mail for crosswire.org
until the server comes back, if you think that's worth doing.
6.3 CVS/SVN/etc: I'm assuming developers can wait :)
6.4 ... What other service(s) did I forget or not know about? Services
that run on the crosswire.org server, that we should try to run
temporarily during the move?
