I have spent some time trying to clearly articulate some things about 
Scripture file formats like USFM and OSIS, and to make some comparisons. 
I have explored some of the underlying philosophies of these formats.

elevate the discussion of Scripture file formats and quotation 
punctuation handling to a more constructive level.
