Since Friday, the 13th of February, uptime on eBible.org has not been great for a combination of reasons. It should be much more stable, now, and with faster response for https://eBible.org/sword/. The FTP portion (on a different computer) is a little slower than it was, and has more limits on numbers of connections. It is much more fragile and vulnerable to DDOS attacks. FTP connections to repositories should not be used in any new Sword implementations, but I have been trying to keep it going for the dinosaur software. Anyway, if you ever notice that the eBible.org repository is down for more than 20 minutes, please let me know.

I implemented some fixes in Ezra Bible App to make this repo update issue more transparent for the user. Previously it would fail completely if more than two repos do not update. I increased the threshold to three now. Also, if any repos fail to update an error message shows which exact repos failed. This fix will then be available with the next release.

Currently eBible.org seems offline.

This alone should not have caused your issue from earlier, there must have been a second repo that also did not work.
