<p>Thank you for that fix. The eBible.org repository (both https and
ftp) should be working, now. If not, please let me know.</p>
<p>Since Friday, the 13th of February, uptime on eBible.org has not
been great for a combination of reasons. It should be much more
stable, now, and with faster response for
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://eBible.org/sword/">https://eBible.org/sword/</a>. The FTP portion (on a different
computer) is a little slower than it was, and has more limits on
numbers of connections. It is much more fragile and vulnerable to
DDOS attacks. FTP connections to repositories should not be used
in any new Sword implementations, but I have been trying to keep
it going for the dinosaur software. Anyway, if you ever notice
that the eBible.org repository is down for more than 20 minutes,
please let me know.</p>

<div>I implemented some fixes in Ezra Bible App to make this repo
update issue more transparent for the user. Previously it would
fail completely if more than two repos do not update. I
increased the threshold to three now. Also, if any repos fail to
update an error message shows which exact repos failed. This fix
will then be available with the next release.</div>

there must have been a second repo that also did not work.</div>

from time to time. Not sure which repository is causing this.</div>

thing I can advise here is to try again later. I agree that
the behavior for individual repositories that are unavailable
should not block the entire operation.</div>
<div class="x_moz-cite-prefix">Note that this functionality
(basic module assistant and repo updates) was not changed in
1.19, so at least this is not a regression.</div>
