<div style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;"><p>A practical <b>workaround</b> is for module developers to add a self-closing <b>seg</b> element <span style="font-family: Menlo, Consolas, "Courier New", monospace;"><seg/></span> into each such empty verse, especially verse 1 of a chapter!!!<br>

This fixes the problem with front-ends such as Xiphos being unable to select the chapter with a missing verse 1, nor to scroll past such a chapter.<br><br>It's also completely <u>harmless</u>! 😎<br><br>This workaround has been successfully implemented in the latest update of <span style="display: inline !important; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">module </span><b>LXX</b> version <b>3.1</b> now in <b>CrossWire Beta</b>.</p><div class="protonmail_signature_block" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">
