Dear Br. Cyrille,

I cannot speak to your Android device, but if you place your sdcard into your computer and place modules under a top level sword folder, Bishop should detect them. E.g.,
sdcard:/sword/mods.d/*
sdcard:/sword/modules/*

Also Bishop should detect any modules installed with AndBible.

Bishop's fallback if it doesn't find a sword library under a sword folder at the root of the sdcard is to use the "app" data directory, which apparently varies a bit. I think it's mostly something like /storage/apps/org.crosswire.bishop/sword/

Hope this helps a bit. This is an area we can improve on.

Troy

On June 24, 2019 1:48:05 PM MST, Cyrille <lafricain79@gmail.com> wrote:

Hello,
I would like to understand how to store the folder sword in the sd card
on Android. I use a lot of module manually, and now it is really
difficult to access all the Android folder on the computer, I don't
understand everything, but it seams to be because of multiple user
settings. With something like emulated/0...
In short, the problem is twofold. First of all, the possibility to
install modules manually by copying and pasting by connecting the phone
or tablet to your computer. And second to be able to store the modules
on the SD card as much as possible even when the system does not offer
it. Is it feasible? Another remark I could not find where the modules
are installed with Bishop, it would still be nice if it could be in the
same place as Andbible and Bibletime...

Br Cyrille
sword-devel mailing list: sword-devel@crosswire.org
http://www.crosswire.org/mailman/listinfo/sword-devel
Instructions to unsubscribe/change your settings at above page

--
Sent from my Android device with K-9 Mail.
