It required stripping the text properly and other bits, but right now all PS has is the native built-in TTS which I was careful to make sure worked properly for visually impaired. directive-formatted text which the TTS must strip to the actual
pronounceable content -vs- just funneling selected text into the
TTS, already absent formatting content.<br>

What it really means is that the TTS is not doing an especially
good job of stripping. Xiphos' TTS does a careful job of feeding
only post-processed text.<br>
