<p dir="ltr">Thanks for that. I now see the original source wasn't osis</p>

<div>The best available OSIS source of the
ASV, as far as I know, is at <a href="ftp://ebible.org/pub/Scriptures/eng-asv_osis.zip" target="_blank">ftp://ebible.org/pub/Scriptures/eng-asv_osis.zip</a>
but the true source is not OSIS.<br>
The source is actually USFM, which you can get from <a href="ftp://ebible.org/pub/Scriptures/eng-asv_usfm.zip" target="_blank">ftp://ebible.org/pub/Scriptures/eng-asv_usfm.zip</a>,
from which the USFX XML at <a href="ftp://ebible.org/pub/Scriptures/eng-asv_usfx.zip" target="_blank">ftp://ebible.org/pub/Scriptures/eng-asv_usfx.zip</a>
and OSIS files are derived using <a href="http://haiola.org" target="_blank">Haiola</a>.
The actual text of the ASV is identical in all of those formats.
It has numerous tiny corrections based on the printed editions
compared to ASV text commonly found elsewhere on the Internet.
Many of those corrections were made after the most recent
conversion to Sword format. I have collected errata from other
sources, plus there is a friend in Oklahoma systematically
proofreading the text as part of his devotions. He has gone from
Genesis through Psalms, so far.<br>
<br>
The OSIS files in <a href="ftp://ebible.org/pub/Scriptures/" target="_blank">ftp://ebible.org/pub/Scriptures/</a>
all validate against the OSIS Schema, and should be suitable for
import into Sword, provided that Sword supports all of the
features of OSIS used in those files (including section titles in
the middle of verses where the translators saw fit). I have
adjusted the OSIS output to make it as Sword-friendly as I know
how. The first 3 letters of each file name in that directory are
the Ethnologue/ISO code for the language. The listing of
translations is in <a href="ftp://ebible.org/pub/Scriptures/translations.csv" target="_blank">ftp://ebible.org/pub/Scriptures/translations.csv</a>,
which is best opened in LibreOffice Calc. (Microsoft Excel takes
extra fiddling to make it recognize the UTF-8 character encoding
and comma-and-quote-delimited CSV format.)<br>
