Long ago and far away, I offered to ask the Bible Society of Papua
New Guinea for permission to publish the Tok Pisin (Melanesian
Pidgin) Bible for Papua New Guinea. Today, I got that permission
from Milton of the Bible Society of Papua New Guinea. Along the way,
I got permission for many more. Please see the current list at
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="ftp://ebible.org/pub/Scriptures/translations.csv">ftp://ebible.org/pub/Scriptures/translations.csv</a> (which is best
viewed in LibreOffice Calc, imported as UTF-8, quote and comma
delimited). Source for this Bible is at
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="ftp://ebible.org/pub/Scriptures/tpi_osis.zip">ftp://ebible.org/pub/Scriptures/tpi_osis.zip</a> or
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="ftp://ebible.org/pub/Scriptures/tpi_usfm.zip">ftp://ebible.org/pub/Scriptures/tpi_usfm.zip</a>, whichever works best.
The text is identical in both. (I will probably generate a module
within a few weeks if nobody else does, first.) The license is
Creative Commons BY-ND-NC, with additional permission to make file
format changes that don't change the text or punctuation of the
Scriptures, like making a Sword module. Extracts are allowed, too,
so you can ignore the Apocrypha/Deuterocanon if you like, to make
modules for front ends that can't handle those books.<br>

Praise God!<br>
