Hi Cris<br>
<br>
I work in a web comany so I have server with accounts --> meaning
not only for my usage but if somebody else need real-time testing I
can open web account for that.<br>
<br>
In my opinion creating a well-documented JSON service would solve
all problems. If you need my help for the server side please contact
me out of list to avoid unnecessary mails for everybody (is the list
planning to open a forum one day?)<br>
<br>
If there's an service with API let's get the docs and start
developing.<br>
<br>
BTW I created server-client web bible for our local church few years
ago, some of the code might be useful again:<br>
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://webible.kramatgan.org/">http://webible.kramatgan.org/</a><br>
(use the buttons on the left to see english text)<br>
<br>
and last question - what is STEP ?<br>
<br>
Best Regards,<br>
Michael<br>

functionality would you want out of the box for this kind of

want to include this? Would a REST API work with WordPress? or
do you usually include some HTML snippet in your content?

<div style="direction: ltr;">OpenScriptures people seem to have
an API described here: <a moz-do-not-send="true"

so it may make sense to align to that. As far as I can tell
from their website, it is just a spec at the moment. But
someone can correct me if I'm wrong?</div>

<div style="direction: ltr;" dir="ltr">Hi all
<div style="direction: ltr;"><br>
</div>
<div style="direction: ltr;">Just wondering if we
have some CMS plugin developers on this list?
STEP will expose an API to other websites, so
I'm looking for volunteers to help brainstorm
& possibly write the plugins for the various
CMSs around. The idea is pretty straightforward
at the moment, and I can think of at least 3 use
cases:</div>
<div style="direction: ltr;">
<ul style="direction: ltr;">
<li style="direction: ltr;">Verse or passage
display</li>
<li style="direction: ltr;">Verse of the day
(mainly because other people do it), but
possibly also following some devotional
schemes</li>
<li style="direction: ltr;">Looking up a
strong number</li>
<li style="direction: ltr;">maybe some more
things if people want to suggest more ideas.</li>
</ul>
</div>
<div style="direction: ltr;">I read from <a
moz-do-not-send="true"
href="http://www.siteground.com/best_cms_tools.htm"
target="_blank">http://www.siteground.com/best_cms_tools.htm</a>
that the top CMS are:</div>
<div style="direction: ltr;">
<ul style="direction: ltr;">
<li style="direction: ltr;">Joomla<br>
</li>
<li style="direction: ltr;">WordPress<br>
</li>
<li style="direction: ltr;">Drupal<br>
</li>
</ul>
</div>
<div style="direction: ltr;">Any ideas if churches
tend to use other popuplar CMS frameworks?</div>
<div style="direction: ltr;"><br>
</div>
<div style="direction: ltr;"> STEP currently
exposes a REST like interface, but some people
might prefer a "javascript" include snippet to
include, etc. Would be interested to hear your
thoughts on that too.</div>
