Like BibleDesktop, it doesn't quite look like a Mac application. Much of the look and feel problems that BD has so does BT.<div><br></div><div>I'm glad I have a fast mac. For whatever reason, it is slower than I would have expected for a C++ application.<div><br></div><div>Criticism aside, it seems quite stable and it does the job.</div><div><br></div><div>I think Joachim knows of BT on Mac. :) If any of you on the BT team can help Xiphos get on the Mac, that'd be great! There's one under development: STEP by Tyndale House. See: http://www.crosswire.org/~chrisburrell/<br>Don't know how current it is. Certainly has a ways to go.<br><br>The other choices for Mac are Bible Desktop, AlKitab, and FireBible (a plugin for FireFox).<br><br>Not sure what you mean by filter keys in large dictionaries, but BD handles large dictionaries with ease. I'm working on getting av11n in the next release (which should have been by now, but, you know, life happens....). So development is active, but way too slow for anyone's liking.<br><br>With a bit of effort, Xiphos probably can be compiled for Mac.
