Hi Patrick.<br>
<br>
There are a few Hebrew-specific features I'd like to add to
BibleTime myself, such as being able to search for a Hebrew word in
both full and defective forms and being able to ignore the niqquds
(vowel points) when searching for a word. However, it might be best
to start by taking a gander at your todo list to gain an
understanding of the code base and squish a few outstanding bugs in
BibleTime.<br>
<br>
Are these todo/wishlist items in the <a
href="http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=954">ticket tracker</a>
somewhere? If so, could you, in a private email, send me the links
to these personal todo/wishlist items so that I can take a look at
them? If not, please send them my way and I'll take a look at them
too.<br>
<br>
Thanks for the reply Patrick!<br>

<pre wrap="">Hey,
welcome. It's great so see people wanting to help out. There is more than
enough to do in all related projects (sword, surrounding tools, frontends).
Do you personally use any sword software? If yes, do you miss a feature or are
you anoyed by a bug, especially in the hebrew area? Then that's a perfect
place to start.
If not I have a lot of stuff on my own todo/wishlist mostly Bibletime stuff.
None is related to hebrew though. :-/
Response time can be quite high on this mailing list and from time to time a
mail is forgotten. This does not mean the other developers are actively
ignoring mails. I guess it's just a sign of how busy they are. So please do
not give up of it sometimes seems noone is there.
Greetings
Patrick

<pre wrap=""> Hi.
I am currently looking into the prospects of helping out with the Sword
project and I am curious as to how I can best contribute to the
development of the Sword project. I am a software developer by trade and
have current experience with .NET-based development and have a background
in both C++ and GNU/Linux based development. I also have some rudimentary
experience with Biblical Hebrew and have a desire to both advance my
knowledge of Biblical Hebrew and enable effective software support /
analysis for the Biblical languages in Sword / associated programs (such
as BibleTime and Xiphos).
Any input or advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
