<pre wrap="">Yes, I also thought the evc build of the sword lib would not use clucene. The legwork you guys are doing investigating storing the xml markup out-of-line is valuable.
We had just removed a prototype clucene alternative for platforms that can't use clucene and having realized evc doesn't build with clucene (should have already known), thought it might be good to check if it still might be useful while we still remember it's there in svn history.
Please know your work on soText is valuable.

I don't think MFC enters into the equation at all! Maybe I'm wrong.
For those members of the SwordReader team who do not yet take the
sword-svn list, I think Troy has fixed the problem that was noted in
versetreekey.
Troy - I've been working under the assumption that the pocket versions
will never be using cLucene, hence the possible usefulness of soText
modules here. Unfortunately my time seems to be getting more and more
tight. I thought I had a fairly quiet week this week, but no! And I'm
all of next week at a national conference for healing advocates to the
URC synods, then I guess I shall spend the following week catching up
(again). At least I won't get bored!
God bless,
Barry
