but couldn't find the newest SwordReader. Have you compiled the newest
version in an installation package for testing? My XV6700 has been
asking if we could test it :-)<br>

Also FYI:<br>
<br>
You can get the source through svn either at the command line by:<br>
svn checkout <a moz-do-not-send="true"
class="moz-txt-link-freetext"
href="https://crosswire.org/svn/swordreader/trunk">https://crosswire.org/svn/swordreader/trunk</a>
swordreader<br>
and you will obviously need the sword lib...<br>
svn checkout <a moz-do-not-send="true"
class="moz-txt-link-freetext"
href="https://crosswire.org/svn/sword/trunk">https://crosswire.org/svn/sword/trunk</a>
sword<br>

It builds either by using eVC 3.0 (which appears to no longer be
available from Microsoft) or with Visual Studio 2005 and the Windows
Mobile 6 Professional (or Standard for SmartPhone suuport) SDK.<br>
<br>
If you are a student you can obtain MSVC 2005 rather cheaply at your
school's bookstore, if not its gonna cost you a pretty penny, which is
why I kept eVC 3 support.<br>

the available Bible readers on the market today. My strength is
actually more towards a usable interface design rather than coding, but
I am able to get the code to work. :) I am a coding hack but will try
to be more structured with this project. My focus is on ease of use so

This would require me to use/learn QT for coding though. And I
understand from QT that I would still need to compile my code in MS
Visual Studio (VS). I am leaning towards just using MS VS. Speaking
of which, does anyone know where I can obtain an inexpensive copy of MS
VS ($300 is more than I can spare at the moment. I would then use the
appropriate code from that reader to use in the mobile version with
mobile specific modifications. I would prefer to only work with C++
