[sword-devel] How to deal with weird versifications

Hello brothers and sisters,

I've been working on encoding various old dutch bibles in OSIS, in order
to make them available as SWORD modules.  I've now got passable OSIS
versions of the bibles (that I will improve over time), but creating
SWORD modules is turning out to be an issue, since they all use
different, weird, nonstandard versifications.

I'm trying to figure out which versification to use for each of the
bibles, while preferably doing as few (structural) changes to the bibles
themselves.  Is there a better way to do this than trial and error,
accompagnied by inspection of the various `canon_asdf.h` files in the
sword repository?

And I vaguely recall there being talk on per-bible versifications - does
anyone know whether there has been work in that regard?
