Hello,
I have been always unhappy with BibleTool on the CrossWire web
site, not only its user-interface always clunky and inefficient,
it is completely unuseable (in this day and age) with small
screens (mobile phones and tablets). I am also a maintainer of
https://hesla.ceplovi.cz, the website for watching daily Watch
Words (Losungen) by the Moravians, and it was always embarassing
to me when I tried to use BibleTool for daily Bible readings
in that app. Finally, I found https://www.stepbible.org which
includes all Czech (and German) Crosswire Bibles I care about and
it has pretty decent mobile view (without changing URL).
STEPBible is an open source project [1] using jSword. Isn’t it an
opportunity to ditch BibleTool (which seems to me quite dead, the
last commit is from 2022-10-14) and replace it working project?
What do you think?
Blessings,
Matěj
