I am not having trouble:

[tgriffitts at fedora utilities]$ pwd
/home/tgriffitts/src/sword/utilities
[tgriffitts at fedora utilities]$ ./installmgr -sc

...

If you understand this and are willing to enable remote source features
then type yes at the prompt

enable? [no] yes

  --------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sync'd config file with master remote source list.

Over what kind of network are you attempting the sync (mobile, wifi)?

What version of SWORD are you running?

Have you compiled with libcurl or are you using the internal ftp transport?
