[sword-devel] Locale problems [was Bishop 1.3.4 Android, Sword 1.8.900]

Right. We need someone willing to spend time in the problem locale files. Bishop gets all its display information from SWORD for Bible book names and preferred abbreviations, and those all come from SWORD's locale files.

I used to push back on locale file which, from a first glance didn't look well developed, but I have given up pushing back and have been committing as these keep getting sent to me. My reasoning is that the language much be important enough to the repeating submitter and thus if/when it doesn't work well, they hopefully will be motivated to fix the problem.

I would think someone else who understands SWORD locale files could fix the issues, even without language fluency.

If you or anyone else feels compelled to track down the deficiencies in the locale files and correct them, I am happy to apply any patches.
