[sword-devel] MEV

Hello,

I have been in contact with the publisher of the MEV, and they have agreed
to publish through The SWORD Project. I need help with sending them a
contract from CrossWire, and possibly also with module conversion. I'll do
as much as I can for module conversion, but I'm no software engineer. Just
a hobbyist.

They need contract info from me (which I need from ya'll), and I need to
request source docs from them. Is there a standard way of doing this?

Do I need a git repository if others in the community are to assist?

Below is an excerpt from my email exchange with MEV starting with one of
their replies,

Hello again, Matt:

 Hello Dan and Martha,

Good afternoon, Matt,

As an important note, in Option 2, at the time of emailing them, I was
under the impression that this was true. I read some time ago in
sword-devel (or maybe the wiki?) that CrossWire doesn't handle money in any
way, but is fine with 3rd parties distributing modules. (I took that to
mean me, and not publishers only) I can't seem to find that, but I made
sure I understood it before publishing/reselling NASB & NET. So that's why
it says that in there. I realize this may not be the case and I have my
facts mixed up. I'll keep digging through sword-devel and try to find where
it was worded that way.

Second Note, I didn't know at the time that it's CrossWire, rather than
Crosswire. I'm learning a lot here :)

I appreciate in advance any responses I get here.

Blessings in Christ,
Matt
