I don’t think so. I think that unless the text predates 1100AD it should be ‘he’. The Masoretic Text is modern Hebrew. Ancient Hebrew had different glyphs for letters and had additional letters.

Let’s wait and see if we get a response from a Hebrew scholar before we do anything.
