For those with Windows x64 machines, this may be what you need.

A command file (BD.cmd) containing this one liner.

org.crosswire.bibledesktop.desktop.Desktop

DM supplied those details to me just over 4 years ago.
I've not updated BD since then.

I still have the shortcut to it on my desktop.
