Most German Protestants are Lutherans, so it may feel so for
non-Germans, but “Evangelische” means really the equivalent of
"Protestant" in English (says former member of “Českobratrská
církev evangelická” or in German “Die Evangelische Kirche der
Böhmischen Brüder”).

And I really see on http://www.lesekammer.de/ works by all kind
of Protestants (or their spiritual ancestors, like Augustinus or
Savonarola). Eusebius, Jonathan Edwards, Balthasar Hubmaier,
Jean Calvin, John Bunyan, and Jan Ámos Komenský (i.e., Comenius)
would most likely not appreciated label of a Lutheran.

Best,

Matěj
