All significant changes for osis2mod should be documented!

Changing a default setting is one of the worst things a programmer can
do!!!!!

It would be better to have removed the default and made the -v flag a
mandatory requirement.
Then at least every user would soon find out that his old script or
remembered command line now gave an error message.
