Здравствуйте...
насколько я понял, Sword utilities версии 1.7 скомпилированы в Microsoft
Visual C++ v.11 2012, поэтому в WinXP эти утилиты не работают... а мен нужны
утилиты, которых нет в версии 1.6... 
для Microsoft Visual C++ v.11 2012 есть исправления, которое позволяет
компилировать приложения для запуска в WinXP...

Скомпилируйте пожалуйста Sword utilities версии 1.7 для совместимости с
WinXP...
