Over the years there have been numerous short contacts on sword-devel by
people asking for or offering to work on c# bindings. Most of these
contacts fizzled out, none lead to any commits to our trunk of which I
am aware. I think in the early 2000s there was a reasonably
comprehensive and successful attempt to create swig bindings which then
fizzled out. The name was sharpsword (which seems to have been a
different project than the one currently on sourceforge - see below)
There were on sourceforge several c# projects which seem to make use of
sword. I know neither their maturity nor if they re-implement or link to
sword. Graphé, sharpsword are the ones I found on a rapid search.
Then there is swordconnect which is a (partial?) re-implementation in
c#.
I think a search of the mailing list will give you more info, but I am
really do not think that any of this will really be of any assistance. I
have a reasonably good memory/awareness for what has happened of note on
sword-devel since 2004. Apart from swordconnect I can think of nothing
of any value which is active, comprehensive and alive.
