Ah yes I was going from poor memory. My question about <l> being always poetry 
even absent the containing <lg> container because I thought I recalled a 
thread saying that there were modules with <l> out there but no <lg>.

Awesome, I'll check that out, once I figure out a way to handle doing the 
output markup.
