The issue is more likely a font issue and not a program issue. Khmer is supported by UTF 8, but is not normally included in mac system fonts. The fault will be with Apple and not Eoquent.

will provide helpful links to get Unicode compliant Khmer fonts. Eloquent probably wants OTF (open type fonts) and not TTF (microsoft truetype fonts.) I Left my mac at work this weekend, so I can't confirm this to be the issue. There may be others issues, since the script page has notes about diacritics, but 'displays nothing' implicates fonts, and not any specific program.
