The output of converting to Pinyin using BabelPad is inadequate for the
purpose I suggested, in that it still leaves tonal choices for the user to
make.

Example: ChiUn => Pinyin gives:

Genesis 1:1: qǐ chū，　shēn/shén chuāng/chuàng cāo/cào/zào tiān de/dì。
Genesis 1:2: de/dì shì kōng/kǒng/kòng xū gǔn/hún/hǔn/hùn/kūn
chún/dùn/tún/zhuàn， yuān miàn hè/hēi àn；　shēn/shén de/dí/dì líng/lìng yùn
háng/hàng/héng/xíng/xìng zài shuǐ miàn shàng。
Genesis 1:3: 　shēn/shén shuì/shuō/tuō/yuè：「 yāo/yǎo/yào yǒu/yòu guāng」， jiù
yǒu/yòu le/liǎo guāng。
