[sword-devel] BlackBerry frontend?

Go Bible had been adapted to OpenMoko [now more or less dead as an OS] a
couple of years ago. It should therefore be something that could be adapted
to work as a proper BlackBerry application, rather than as a Java ME
application running in whatever RIM used as the JVM in their smart phones.
Moreover, Peter's lament concerned how BlackBerry fouled up all J2ME apps.,
not just Go Bible.

My guess is that there must be enough power and memory in BlackBerry phones
to support a proper front-end application, more like PocketSword than Go
Bible. This would give it considerable edge over both YouVersion and
OliveTree.

I'd vote for a SWORD front-end to be developed, though I myself cannot
afford to divert time to such a project.
