This mechanism does not work as desired and is overly buerocratic.

Not active. Not in the least.

And the very front page of Crosswire is still the best part the rest is
worse.

The Wiki is where people contribute upon, so I really think that you
should not delete on there. Organise - by all means. Enforcing a
decision clearly not carried by the community - not. Unless it is
accomanied (and preceded) by a step which opens up the main site in a
much more transparent and updateable way.
