This is a good indication that you might want to pick up a book on C++ ad review your C++ skills.
The double colons are scope resolution operators, they essentially attach the Run() method to the SRReaderApp class.

Ok, maybe I misunderstood then, it doesn't look like the code I have 
written in the past.  Likely my ignorance.

Can someone explain this line:
WPARAM SRReaderApp::Run()

I don't get why the "SRReaderApp" separated by double colons "Run()"

I've never written code for a shared project, so you all will have to 
help me learn I guess.
