[sword-devel] Spanish Bible Module: Reina-Valera 1960

Greetings to everyone from Costa Rica. If you respond to this post,
please carbon my address. I'm not subscribed to the list. Thanks.

I was wondering if anyone is working on a Sword Project module for the
Spanish version of the Bible "Reina-Valera 1960."

I've asked this question before, but some time ago. One of the major
hurdles for me in migrating to Linux is the inability to "copy and
paste" Bible text from a searchable Bible program.

I understand that there is concern over the issue of copyright
infringement, but I wonder if we could take into consideration that
the Reina-Valera 1960 is already available for free download in eSword
format.

The copyright on the RV60 states: "The text of the Reina-Valera 1960
version (RVR1960) appearing on or deriving from this or any other web
page is for personal use only."

http://www.biblegateway.com/versions/index.php?action=getVersionInfo&vid=60#copy

If the user has a purchased copy of the RV60 text, he may also (for
personal use only) make an electronic copy of that text for use on his
computer. This, I believe, is the understanding that goes along with
the eSword module mentioned above.

Is anyone working on a RV60 module for the Sword Project? If not,
would anyone like to?

Thanks.

-Greg
