[sword-devel] Poraa update?

I just got a problem report on BibleDesktop that the module poraa is 
showing bad characters at the end of each line.

This was reported over a year ago. There was an offer to provide a fixed 
version, but there was some question as to the copyright status. Seems 
that the fixed version was not a correction of the module that is 
present on crosswire. It also seemed that Chris had a fixed version, 
that was to be posted to the beta area. I just looked and it is not there.

Is there any news on this? I think it would be trivial to fix. Is there 
any reason not to?
