My attempt was to provide a couple of suggestions, not a complete list.  I am 
sure they would research the options before rewriting any of their software.  
Hopefully they will release a Sword module instead anyway, but we can't be 
sure of that knowing the past history between Zondervan and CrossWire.

FYI, I did get a message saying that my e-mail was forwarded to the "New Media 
Department" at Zondervan for consideration.
