You're trying to be too sneaky.
If you just unzip the KJV.zip into Program Files/sword/books/ you will
get a working module.
To do it manually, like you've tried, you should copy
${WINDOWS_INSTALL}/mods.d/kjv.conf to
${PDA}/Program Files/sword/books/mods.d
and
${WINDOWS_INSTALL}/modules/texts/ztext/kjv to
${PDA}/Program Files/sword/books/modules/texts/ztext/kjv
and
DON'T EDIT any .conf files.

PS. Also be sure to: Menu|Shutdown and then restart swordreader so it
picks up on new books.
