Yes, and yes.

See the following threads from the past fortnight for problems
with the make process:
"sword-devel RPM does not contain sword.pc"
and
"make distcheck fails on current CVS"

In the first thread mentioned, Chris listed the utilities that
were no longer required, and those that should be added.
