Hello Chris,

I use cygwin and tkcvs... There is no option here to use cr/lf. The
files I mentioned are generated by eVC and probably never edited or
compared by hand anyway.

Only _real_ binary files should be checked in as binary.  I'm not sure 
which CVS program you're using, but WinCVS has an option to check files 
out with Unix LF (on the Checkout settings' Globals tab)--otherwise it 
will convert LF to CR+LF.
