[sword-devel] Other religions?

Dear participants of this "Other religions?" thread,

I am deeply concerned at the discussion that continues to take place and
the lack of Christian testimony reflect herein.

The Bible is the Logos. It is the word of Christ. The Quran is the
word of Mohommed. Which author do you follow? Which author do you
serve? They are opposed to one another.

When the Ark of the Covenant was placed before the Philistine idol of
their god Dagon, the idol was found toppled the next day. When it was
set upright, the following day it was found shattered. The Lord is
Holy. What partnership does the Holy Bible and the Quran have? What
does light have to do with darkness?

Peoples and organizations around the world examine our discussions.
They will know us by the fruit of our lips. Are our words testifying
that Christ is the way, truth, and life and that no man comes to the
Father but through Christ? Or are we saying, by our words, tolerance
and consideration, that Mohommed and Christ Jesus deserve equal
consideration, equal treatment, and are equally valid paths to eternal life?

2 John 7-11
7 Many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the
flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and
the antichrist. 8 Watch out that you do not lose what you have worked
for, but that you may be rewarded fully. 9 Anyone who runs ahead and
does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever
continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. 10 If anyone
comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take him into your
house or welcome him. 11 Anyone who welcomes him shares in his wicked
work. NIV

I ask that you consider your words and your focus, and make a response
that it may be known where you stand. Since no one else has addressed
these concerns, I state the issue as gently as I may given the weight of
issue. If it is neccesary to clarify, I will do so with great clarity
and strength. But I prefer gentleness and to give the participants time
to get their thoughts and convictions in order.

Many Saints read these threads and hear of them from others. Shall we
uphold the cause of Christ? Shall we take a stand? The world will hate
you if you do; they hated Christ. Shall we take a stand? The saints are
watching. The saints are encouraged or hindered by the example we set.
Shall we...

I'll not ask the third time.

Is this project fully devoted to serving Christ? Then it does not need
to promote or assist those who stand opposed to Christ nor assist in
their labor.

I write these things out of concern for your well being and of those who
are affected by these conversations that we not labor in vain. I write
out of Love for Christ and His Saints.
