Lynn,

No, unfortunately Borland C++ Builder 5 was never released for free. 
6.0 really hasn't been either, except as part of that Nokia SDK. 
Borland C++ BuilderX 1.0 Personal is available for free, but Sword 
hasn't been ported over to that framework yet (maybe someday).

You could work on incorporating the new code into the BCB6 project (or 
hope one of the maintainers reads this and does it for you).
