I suppose like most things ... it depends. I can envision many apps =
being "widget driven", or just wanting to put up specified verses. As =
VerseKey is currently written, there is no constructor that doesn't =
require parsing. This drags in all kinds of dependent code and bloats =
the resulting exe's.

Also, it does seem the level of parsing is the proverbial "swiss army =
knife." It allows "normalizing, such as "Genesis 1:30-99", and the =
following:
Malachi 4:4-99 ; Gen 3:3-6 ; Gen 3:8-4:10 ; Gen 50:20-99 : Gen =
50:20-Exod 2:6
