Yih-Chun Hu has enhanced the original version of the PalmBible which was written by Poetry H.C. Poon. His new version is available at http://palmbibleplus.sourceforge.net.

Yih-Chun Hu has built in foot note support which relies on the fact that any text contained in {} can be revealed/hidden with a keystroke. This would be valuable for footnotes and also Strongs numbers etc. Diaspora currently outputs footnotes and Strongs numbers with a combination of () and <>. It would be nice if Diaspora could be updated to output PBR with {} when footnotes or Strongs options are selected.

I am a Delphi programmer but if no one was willing I might be able to update the source though it would probably be a hack. I also couldn't find the source on the Crosswire site. I am able to do a sophisticated search and replace to convert the existing PBR format into what I need but then this will only assist me.

This conversion will allow me to lookup Strongs words using a Strongs dictionary from Beiks or to make my own from Sword dictionaries for use in RoadLingua so that I have all the power of Sword on my Palm. RoadLingua has a utility to convert a CSV file into a dictionary. If someone was updating the source then a Sword dictionary to CSV option would also be nice.

Andrew.
