Thank you for your interest in wanting to help out on the support list.
Although .doc may not be the best chioce for the attachments, it isn't a big
deal to me. :-) The users have a couple of options here, one is to locate
the folder where sword.exe resides and delete options.conf, layout.conf, and
userpref.conf. Not all of them may exist, but if they do delete them, then
rerun BibleCS. If that does not fix it, I advise completely uninstalling the
sword project and deleting any remnants of it on the hard drive, which means
deleting the directory where it was installed, default I believe is
"C:\Program Files\Crosswire\The Sword Project\" . Sword does not use the
registry so doing this completely removes it and gives the user a fresh
start. If that still does not fix it, there is a small chance the setup
program is corrupt, and needs to be redownloaded. I hope this is helpful.
