Hiya Troy,
Just got a couple of requests for the release when it comes, from the
library side.
Just before you make the final release can you make a rc source
release to be around for 24-48 hours for people to verify that it is
good before it is finally released.
Also, could there be 2 source releases please please please, the full
'Sword Project for Windows' source that has the apps dir and
everything, and a 'Sword library' release that just has the library
and diatheke and anything else that is core (generated by make
distribution).
I'd suggest:
sword-1.5.6.tar.gz for the library
swordfull-1.5.6.tar.gz for the full source
or alternatively
libsword-1.5.6.tar.gz for the library
sword-1.5.6.tar.gz for the full source
And for other people, are there people that can build rpms for
different systems that can test the spec file?
For now try 'make distribution' to generate a .tar.gz
and then run
rpmbuild -ta sword-1.5.6.tar.gz
to get rpms
Regards,
Daniel
