Hi sword-devel'opers,

There is a revised beta for LcdBible at:

I would very much appreciate feedback (suggestions, problems, etc.) from
downloading, installing, and testing the files referenced below.

SourceForge lcdbible Project Description:
"Easy to use Bible s/w for children/missionaries who have obsolete computers
with LCD (Lowest Common Denominator) components (Pent 233, slow 1 gb drive,
800*600 res, 32 mb mem, broken CD, 28.8 modem, Win98-SE or later).
LcdBibleSetup.exe to fit on 1.44 floppy with WEB-NT."

Progress since 2003-Dec-24 0.90a Beta:
* Right-mouse-button in TitleBar activates SysMenu to allow:
   - selection of Small, Medium, or Large font for Bible text viewer
   - relatively flexible Search options
* Search options include:
   - case sensitive or case insensitive
   - all words or any word (for spelling guesses)
   - word phrase (all words in order) or any-order
   - from beginning of Bible text or current chapter
* Visual Test "robot" script for XP regression testing
* Several bug fixes related to search logic
* Setup size increased from 388kb to 400kb

Caveats:
* User interface is crude ... RMB SysMenu rather than menu

Plans for next beta:
* Modeless dialog for search options
* Relocation of Search related widgets to bottom
* Context sensitive menus for font size and search options
* More flexible searching planned
   - "Exact word" rather than "partial word" (generation vs generations vs
regeneration)
   - "Span two verses" rather than within single verse
* Should have context sensitive popup menus for font size and search options
* Stubs for context sensitive help
* Use entire WEB Bible with OT rather than just NT. Should still easily fit
on 1.44 meg floppy
