I dont really care or else I would not program in gpl. That however was not my
question. And again to the rest of your email it is not really a matter of
what crosswire does with the gpl but rather what does the gpl say. If you
dont exercise the right to your license you loose the right. That is hte best
understanding of copyright law and I'm no lawyer. I have just seen others
doing this kind of thing.
You make it clear that you believe that something about the gpl goes against
the bible? Unless i misunderstand you? At any rate there is nothing that
could be done about it anyway as there is others gpl code used as chris
pointed out. This whole argument is rather moot.
The gpl simply states that if you base your work on a gpl project it has to be
gpl period.
