Hello, Everybody :)
After attempting to compile Sword from the CVS after getting all the
updates that have been committed since I sent the above quoted email,
the problem still persists, except that the error message is getting a
lot longer.  Because of it's size, I will upload it to the following
location:
http://www.faith4miracle.org/sword-MakeErrorOutput.tar.bz2
