As already mentioned PDF isn't extremely useful for sword except for maybe
printing. The main problem for me with using PDF's or PostScript files as
modules for images and maps is the lack of interactivity. You can't afaict
use PS/PDF to link locations on a map to modules or more detailed maps, or
anything else useful like that. I think SVG or a map-centric similar method
is a good way to go since it's an XML based standard and a large number of
our other modules are XML based (and all once we get things OSIS converted)
so things work in a cohesive manner without having to reinvent the wheel
every time we think up a new format.
